During week beginning 19th March, class P7-C from Whitdale Primary School, visited the Academy for their Transition Week.

On 21st March, The Youth Philanthropy Initiative (Y.P.I.) finals took place in the Assembly Hall.

At lunchtime on 21st March, the Sports Captains ran an Interhouse Bowling Competition.

The Wind Band travelled to Perth Concert Hall on Saturday 17th March to take part in the Scottish Concert Band Festival National Finals.

On 15th March, Fiona Wilson visited the school during the lunch break to talk to staff about the work of the charity, Jak's Den.

During week beginning 16th March, the Primary 6/7 class from Longridge Primary School visited the Academy for their transition week.

Congratulations to Rachel, one of our S3 pupils, who won the grand prize at the Schuh shoe design competition on 15th March!

On 14th March, the Inclusion and Wellbeing Service, who are currently running an N5 Retail course for secondary school pupils at West Lothian College, held a bake sale.

Well Done to Rachel, Scott, Ross, Ryan and Emma, who as part of the Whitburn Heartlands Brass Band, finished 2nd at the Scottish Band Championships in Perth on 10th March.
