For the first time in many years, Whitburn Academy decorated a float to take part in procession at Whitburn Gala Day on Saturday 23rd June.

On Wednesday 20th June, the Academy held its junior awards ceremony to celebrate and reward the many academic and extra curricular successes of our S1 - S3 pupils.

On 18th June, Ross, one of our new S2 pupils, performed at the Whitburn Brass Festival.

The Primary 7 pupils from Croftmalloch, Falla Hill, Greenrigg, Longridge, Polkemmet, Stoneyburn and Whitdale primary schools, who will be joining us as S1 pupils in August came to the Academy from 12th June -15th June for their transition week.

On 11th June, the school held an information evening for the parents / carers of the P7 pupils from our cluster primaries, that will be joining us after the summer holidays.

On 7th June, our new S2 pupils took part in a Speedy STEM challenge.

On 5th June, Zoe, Emily and Chelsea from S3, took part in the finals of the Mitsubishi Pump it up competition.

After 2 years of hard work and fundraising, it's finally time for the Vine Trust group to head on their educational visit to Peru.

Our departing S6 year group held their final event as pupils at Whitburn Academy on Friday 1st June, when they attended their school prom.

On 31st May, our new S6 pupils took part in their induction day.
