Following their cheque handover to Nil by Mouth the previous week, members of the Charities Committee handed over a cheque to the Local Foodbank on 12th March.

From 7th - 9th March, Primary 7 pupils from Whitdale Primary School, visited the Academy for their transition visit.

On 8th March, the Staff challenged the S1-S3 Netball team to a game of Netball!

Whitburn Academy were pleased to welcome Aldi and Team GB to the school on 8th March.

On 26th and 27th February, Primary 7 pupils from Croftmalloch Primary school attended the Academy as part of their transition week.

Congratulations to the charity committee, who have raised a fantastic total of £2872 for their selected charities so far during Session 2017-18.

On 5th March, James Lithgow from Nil by Mouth visited Whitburn Academy to talk to our S1 and S2 about anti-sectarianism.

During week beginning 19th February, Primary 7 pupils from Stoneyburn have been visiting the Academy for some transition activities.

On 22nd February, our S4 pupils took part in a Democracy Challenge.

On 16th February, Jayne Easson from the Teenage Cancer Trust visited Whitburn Academy to deliver a cancer awareness talk to our S2 pupils.
