Supporting Your Child as they study towards SQA Qualifications
Connect West Lothian are hosting an online information session on Thursday 5th February from 8pm - 9pm for parents and carers of pupils in S3 and above to provide advice and guidance on supporting your child to study towards SQA qualifications.
Parents and carers of pupils in S3 and above are invited to attend a live online information session titled: "Online Learning with Scholar & e-Sgoil (S3+)". This session is focused on how to support your child as they prepare for assessments, exams and SQA qualifications.
This session will explain how Scholar and e-Sgoil's online learning programmes can help young people:
- strengthen understanding of course content
- consolidate learning and revise effectively for exams
- access high quality teaching and resources from home.
You will learn what support is available, how your child can access it, and how flexible online learning can fit alongside school studies. The session will also highlight how engaging digital lessons can support different learning styles, build confidence, and encourage independent study skills, particularly valuable during exam years.
This is an opportunity to better understand the options available to help your child feel supported, prepared, and confident in their studies towards SQA qualifications.
The session is open to all parents and carers and takes place on 5th February 2026 from 8-9pm. Please note this session is on a Thursday and that all other sessions are on a Tuesday
