Dress Down Day
Our S6 Community and Charity Committee have organised a Dress Down Day for Friday 5th December.
25 November
Pupils can either dress down or wear a festive jumper. In return, we are collecting food items to support local families. To make sure we don't end up with hundreds of tins of soup we have allocated tutor classes to bring in specific items as shown below:
| Tutor Group | Item |
| 1B1, 1B2, 1B3 | Tin of soup |
| 1D1, 1D2 | Tin of vegetables (e.g. peas, carrots etc) |
| 1W1, 1W2 | Tin of fruit |
| 2B1, 2B2 | Tinned potatoes |
| 2D1, 2D2 | Tin or carton of custard |
| 2W1, 2W2, 2W3 | Tin of beans or spaghetti |
| 3B1, 3B2 | Pack of biscuits |
| 3D1, 3D2 | Carton of long life / UHT milk |
| 3W1, 3W2 | Tin of tuna / meat (e.g. stew, mince) |
| 4B1, 4B2 | Packet of dried pasta |
| 4D1, 4D2 | Packet of long grain rice |
| 4W1, 4W2 | Jar of pasta sauce |
| 5B1, 5B2 | Jar of jam or chocolate spread |
| 5D1, 5D2 | Tea bags / tin of hot chocolate powder |
| 5W1, 5W2 | Multipack of crisps (6) |
| S6 | Box of breakfast cereal |
| Staff | Sharing box or pack of chocolate treats (e.g. Roses, Celebrations etc) |
Please note: although it is a dress down day, clothing must be appropriate for school. Friday 5th December is still a normal school day and pupils should bring all the materials that they need for normal lessons with them.
Many thanks for your support.
