Festive Dress Down Day food appeal to support local families
Our S6 pupils organised this year's Festive Dress Down Day and instead of the usual £1 donation, pupils were asked to bring in a selection of food items instead to help local families in need.

To say we were overwhelmed with the generosity of our wonderful pupils and staff is an understatement. S6 pupils kept arriving with bags and boxes from classrooms and we had to turn the school library into a makeshift food warehouse to store and sort everything! Our wonderful S6 pupils rose to the challenge and gave up their free time to make up amazing food bags with everything from cornflakes to mince pies to ensure local families have plenty to eat over the festive period. This could not have been achieved without the support of everyone in the school community, so a huge thank you to everyone who donated. Your generosity is much appreciated.
