Career Ready
On 2nd October, the new Career Ready cohort from Whitburn Academy celebrated the launch of the programme with their mentors from JBT Corporation, Glemorangie Whisky, Kidzeco, West Lothian Council and CGI CGlobal.

Since 2002, Career Ready have connected employers with schools & colleges to provide young people aged 14-18 with mentors, internships, masterclasses, and employer-led activities that prepare them for the world of work.
They have a network of around 5,500 volunteers from 400 employers and have helped to transform the lives of 30,000 young people in 300+ schools & colleges in the past year.
