Be Herd Assembly
On 13th June, the Elefriends from Whitburn Academy's Health and Wellbeing group presented an assembly to the new S1 pupils, visiting as part of their Transition Week.

The assembly was to raise awareness of Mental Health issues and the help available within the school for any issues that our pupils may have. The group also promoted the Health and Wellbeing Hub, which is located in the library. Pupils and staff from the group also shared some personal and at times moving stories from events that have taken place in their own lives.
The assembly ended with the pupils and 'Ellis the Elephant' performing their finale piece from April's 'Be Herd' concert, 'One Call Away'.
