Mock Court Project Success
Over the past few weeks, Whitburn Academy has been represented by 2 teams of senior pupils in the Mock Court Case project.

Representing team 1, Elena and Anna were fantastic solicitors and our witnesses - Ryan, Ellie, and Jenna - impressed and dumbfounded all with their convincing performances.
Team 2 emphatically won their defence case against Dunbar Grammar. Jenna and Amy did a stellar job as solicitors and Naomi, Isla and Emma Jane, our witnesses, were convincing in their performances.
Congratulations also to Riley, Casey and Melissa, who put in a lot of work behind the scenes for both teams.
On 21st November, the pupils attended the awards ceremony at the University of Edinburgh.
