Stoneyburn Transition Visit
During week beginning 5th November, the P6/P7 composite class from Stoneyburn Primary School visited the academy for their transition week.

During the week, the pupils attended a number of practical classes in a number of departments across the school. Activities included:
- Investigating who stole the Venus Fly Trap from Science Room 2
- Basketball and using the exercise equipment in PE
- Making Mini Pizzas in Home Economics
- Acting out the main scenes from a number of films to their theme tune in Drama
- Deciding the best books by their cover, blurb on the back cover and first line of the first chapter.
- Making front covers for their art folders
- Investigating 'who shot Mr Burns' in Computing
- finishing off a key ring to take home in DMG
- working on and completing their Hi5 award
- learning to play 'I Gotta Feeling' on the keyboard in Music.
The pupils have had a fantastic time during this week and are already looking forward to their next visit!
