Croftmalloch Transition
On 26th and 27th February, Primary 7 pupils from Croftmalloch Primary school attended the Academy as part of their transition week.
The pupils visited a number of different subjects all across the school and had a fun time trying out the many exciting lessons and activities that they had planned.
The week began with a visit to the Science department, where they got to do an experiment, followed by a music lesson, where the pupils learned to play part of 'I gotta feeling' by the Black Eyed Peas on the keyboard and Xylophone. On Tuesday, the pupils had great fun at Drama, where they had to act out the plot of a film after hearing the tune. They finished the day with a visit to PE to try some gymnastics.
Unfortunately, their visit was cut short by the bad weather, which caused all school in West Lothian to be closed for the remainder of the week, however, the pupils will be coming back later in April to complete their last three days.
