P7 Transition Week
During week beginning 29th January, Primary 7 pupils from Falla Hill Primary School in Fauldhouse have been visiting the Academy for some transition activities.
The pupils visited a number of different subjects all across the school and had a fun time trying out the many exciting lessons and activities that they had planned.
The week began with a visit to the Science department, where they got to do an experiment, followed by a group activity and quiz in Business Studies. On Tuesday, the pupils enjoyed a Spanish lesson, a test of their acting skills in Drama, where they had to act out the plot of a film from hearing the tune before ending the day with a visit to PE to try some gymnastics. Wednesday began with a music lesson and was followed by a visit to PE to try some games and ended with a lesson on Internet Safety.
Thursday was a busy day with the Pupils decorating some keyrings in DMG, drawing feathers in Art and making mini pizzas in Home Economics. The final day of the visit involved a fun lesson on Encryption in Computing with the 'Who shot Mr Burns puzzle' and a quick shot of the Arcade Machine. Their visit finished with a film show of the highlights of their week at the Academy.
