Geography Goes Live on Teams App
All pupils who have opted to study Geography from S3-S6 have been added to our new digital learning platform Teams.

This means Geography students will be able to communicate with all other pupils from their class as well as Geography pupils from other year groups. In addition to this, everyone has an easy way to communicate with their teacher, Mrs Whyte, outside the classroom.
This week we have already seen pupils post up photos of their favourite aspect of Geography. The Teams App can be used for a large range of activities like posting homework tasks, asking a friend or teacher for help with homework. In addition to this pupils will be using the App as an interactive revision tool and as a platform for in depth discussion of their learning in Geography. Pupils can upload photos, post comments, upload videos, post links to articles and websites, upload files as well as see files and notes posted by the teacher.
Each week a pupil will be assigned as 'Teacher of the Week' and they will try to invoke discussions surrounding topics they have been studying in class. All we need now is for everyone to interact on the App to ensure pupils get the full benefits from using Teams. With commitment from pupils, this truly is Anytime Anywhere Learning (AAL) in action.
