European Day of Languages
To celebrate European Day of Languages on 26th September, S1-3 took part in a range of activities to celebrate the linguistic diversity across Europe and to highlight the benefits of speaking more than one language.

Across Scotland, all pupils are entitled to learn two foreign languages from P1 - S3 with a huge range of advantages as a result. At Whitburn Academy, pupils learn French from S1-3 and Spanish in S1-2 in masterclasses which is also available as an option in S3.
This week, classes took part in quizzes, discussions on stereotypes, and even took hilarious photos with various props in our European photo booth. Comme c'est amusant !"
