Whitburn's Bake Off Final

Like the previous two rounds, the competition was hotly contested with a very high standard of baking from all the pupils and staff taking part. Whitburn Academy's very own 'Bake off judges' aka Mr Bulloch, Mrs Cowan, Miss Findlay and Mrs Peebles had a very tough job picking a winner, however after a lot of deliberating, debate and sampling the cakes, we have a winner!

Congratulations to Mr Scobie, who held on to his 'Star Baker' title for another year! Mr Scobie made a Norwegian Apple Pie using apples from his own back garden!   Kayly from S3 finished a close second with her blueberry and banana layered cake! Well done and thank you to all the pupils and staff who have been involved in the competition over the past few weeks.
