BBC Microbit
The BBC Micro bit is a 4 x 5 cm microcomputer which can be programmed to perform a number of different functions: from displaying messages on a small built in LED screen to working as a thermometer,a compass or even making and playing tunes!

The school received a large number of Microbits from the BBC last year and in the last few weeks, some pupils from our S1 and S2 Computing Science classes have been programming them.
The pupils have been trying out a number of different experiments with their microbits and have created some interesting projects.
