Staff V Pupils Netball
Monday 6th March saw our newly formed netball team take on a brand new challenge in an epic Staff V Pupil netball match!
There was some exceptional teamwork and determination shown by the students, who did well to compete against some top performance athletes including Miss Haggart, Miss Fowler, Ms McGurk, Ms Hannah, Miss Laing & Mr Stevenson. An unfortunate injury from Miss Fowler and a few key player changes on the student team at half time saw them dominate in the second half, resulting in the student team taking the win against the staff with a final score of 7-4.
A big thanks to the netball team and the staff who played and supported us from the sideline, for making the game such a success. Much fun was had by all and I'm sure the staff team will be back in action before the end of the year for an almighty comeback/rematch - so watch this space!
Also, a special shout out goes to Nicole Cowan from West Lothian Wildcats netball club who took time out of her busy schedule to umpire the game.
