Netball Cup
For the first time ever, Whitburn Academy entered the prestigious Netball Schools Scottish Cup competition!
Our U13s team have now played all three matches of the first round: St Margaret's High School from Airdrie, Coatbridge High and St Andrew's High School (Coatbridge). All three matches presented very strong opposition for our newly-formed team, and Whitburn were unlucky in some very close matches. However, the results of the first round have not dampened their team spirit and enthusiasm, as they continue to turn up to training each week, determined to improve for our follow up matches in the second round!
