PCR Workshop
The day long active workshop at Napier University allowed students to get hands-on experience of the polymerase chain reaction (PCR).

Pupils used modern laboratory techniques, including DNA extraction, PCR, restriction enzyme digestion and gel electrophoresis.
The pupils all said that they had an excellent experience and loved being in a modern lab situation as well as having a much greater understanding of the PCR process. A great experience all round!
