Easter Door Challenge
Whitburn Academy joined forces with Whitdale Primary to help remove litter in Whitburn, last Thursday afternoon (30 March).
Over the last week of term, Tutor classes across the school have been decorating their classroom doors for Easter.
Pupils from all year groups along with their Tutor Teachers have been working hard to try and create the best design.
The classes were competing to win an Easter Basket full of goodies and as you can imagine, the competition was hotly contested!
On 30th March, Miss Loudon and Miss Totten went round the school looking at the displays, whilst Mr Hawthorn (IT/AV Technician) took photographs of all the displays before a winner was chosen.
It was a very difficult task picking the winning design, however we did finally pick a winner! Well Done to Miss Maher and the pupils of 1W2 for their eggcellent design! A special mention also goes to 1B2 (Miss Haggart) and 1D1 (Miss Reid).
