Over the past 3 weeks, members of staff have been designing, making and decorating their own Christmas Cakes.

After a long discussion (many cups of tea, slices of Christmas cake and mince pies!), Ms Loudon and Mr Shankland picked a winner for this year's Christmas Door Challenge!

The first of Whitburn Academy's Help Week events took place on Wednesday 20th December, the annual Christmas Fayre.

Over the final few days of term, tutor classes across the school have been decorating their classroom doors as part of the Christmas Door Challenge.

On 19th December, Whitburn Academy held its annual Christmas Concert.

On Monday 18th December, Whitburn Academy welcomed Cathy MacPhail to talk to a selection of s1-s3 pupils about her novels and the art of creative writing.

On Saturday 2nd December, the Wind Band took part in the Scottish Concert Band Festival at Inveralmond High School in Livingston.

On 29th and 30th November, the Assembly Hall was decorated for Christmas with the building of the Christmas Tree and hanging of the '12 Days of Christmas' banners around the hall.

On Friday 24th November, the S6 Events Committee held a Ceilidh for S6 pupils and staff.

All pupils who have opted to study Geography from S3-S6 have been added to our new digital learning platform Teams.
