S3 Italian Event
On 30th September, the S3 Italian class had a very exciting visit from Francesco who owns Fruttivendolo, an Italian green grocers in Edinburgh.

Francesco, along with the help of two pupils, demonstrated how to make a classic Italian dessert, Tiramisù.
Pupils also had the opportunity to ask questions about the reality of running a business and also about Italy, Italian culture and the Italian language. It was a great event and helped the students link their learning in the classroom to real life experiences!
Thank you Francesco, and the whole team at Fruttivendolo, for coming to inspire our young people to learn Italian, which is a new and exciting subject at Whitburn Academy!
