P7 SmartSTEM event
On 24th September, Primary 7 pupils from our cluster primary schools visited the Academy to take part in the annual SmartStem workshop event.

Pupils took part in a wide range of workshops, which included activities such as:
- building periscopes
- designing and building wind turbines using K'nex building blocks
- some fun science experiments
- designing overhead line equipment for the railways using marshmallows, spaghetti and blutack
- decorating old clothing by adding strings of lights
