Mitsubishi Challenge
On 4th June, the annual Mitsubishi challenge final took place where a group of our new S4 pupils competed against groups from other West Lothian schools.

The Mitsubishi challenge requires the pupils to come up with an innovative use for a heat pump. Our group representing Whitburn Academy, 'The Mitsubishi Heatwaves', had the idea of using heat pumps for heating football stadiums.
Although the team didn't win, they all did an amazing job representing the school and worked well as a team to communicate their idea.
