Francophonie Competition Success!
After competing in a Francophonie competition, the S3 French class at Whitburn Academy were awarded first place and invited to the French Institute in Edinburgh to celebrate their success.
The aim of the Francophonie competition, is to promote French language learning through a French class group project, and to encourage students and teachers to celebrate the French-speaking
world and its culture.
The students had the opportunity to participate in a Stop Motion workshop where they made their own short films. They also received a collection of prizes including bags, books and cake pops!
It was a wonderful celebration of their achievement and a great experience on their language learning journey!
