Dress Down Day for Shoebox Appeal
Our S6 Community and Charity Committee have organised a dress down day for Friday 17th October.

Rather than paying to dress down, we ask that pupils and staff bring in an item to support our Christmas Shoebox appeal in aid of Blythswood Care. The filled shoeboxes are then sent to Blythswood Care, who will distribute them to vulnerable children in Ukraine.
To ensure that we do not have too many of the same item, the committee have produced a list of items that they are looking for and have assigned these items to each individual tutor class. It is essential that all items are new, in their original packaging and are able to fit into a shoebox. The short video in the following link shows what a difference a shoe box can make to a child this Christmas: Shoebox Appeal 2025 video (opens new window)
