S6 Graduation Ceremony
On Friday 19th April, it was our S6 pupils' last ever school day and their Graduation Ceremony!
The event started with our Head Teacher, Ms Loudon, talking to the pupils about their 6 years at the Academy as well as displaying some of their S1 photographs on the screens for everyone to see! Mrs Skinner, our S6 Co-ordinator then also spoke about some of the events that the pupils have been involved in over the year.
The parents / carers and families of our S6 pupils, who had been invited along to the ceremony saw our S6 pupils being presented with their Graduation Certificates from their heads of house: Mr Durkin for Bruce House, Mrs Fowler-Crooks for Douglas House and Mr Rhodie for Wallace House.
A pre recorded video from some of our teaching staff with messages for the pupils, the video ended with an unforgettable song that Mr Tibbets from the English Department had written especially for the pupils!
The Graduation Ceremony ended with a vote of thanks from Mr Mackenzie, our Acting Depute Head then everyone made their way to the Library for juice and cake!
Good Luck to all our S6 pupils for their upcoming exams and for the future, where ever it takes them!
