Foodbank Collection
Throughout November, both Teaching and Non-Teaching staff from the Academy have been collecting various tinned, dry and long-life foods to be donated to the local foodbank as part of their 'Reverse Advent Calendar' campaign.

Thank you to all the Staff who brought in so many donations of food to such a worthwhile cause.
This year with the current situation with the Coronavirus pandemic and with Christmas approaching, the need for donations to the foodbank is even greater. Every day, people throughout the UK go hungry for reasons ranging from redundancy to receiving an unexpected bill on a low income. A simple box of food makes a big difference, with foodbanks helping prevent crime, housing loss, family breakdown and mental health problems.
