Gala Day Float
For the first time in many years, Whitburn Academy decorated a float to take part in procession at Whitburn Gala Day on Saturday 23rd June.

The float, which was designed by pupils and staff from the Art Department, featured a large birthday cake and large number 50 containing a large montage of photographs of a large number of current pupils and staff to celebrate the school's 50th Anniversary year.
The float won 3rd prize in the 'Decorated Floats - Local Youth' category at the Gala Day.
Well Done to all the pupils and staff involved in decorating the float.
