P7 Parents Information Evening
On 11th June, the school held an information evening for the parents / carers of the P7 pupils from our cluster primaries, that will be joining us after the summer holidays.
The night was a massive success with standing room only in the Hall, where the parents / carers and the Primary 7 pupils were shown a presentation about the different forms of support available for our pupils, they were introduced to the House Teams and the Support for Learning Team. They were also given information on the different faculties and departments within the school, the school day and promoting positive behaviour.
After the presentation, the parents/carers and pupils went to the Academy Cafe where various departments had set up stalls to promote their extra curricular clubs, these included the Eco group, Science Club, PE, Drama Club, Book Club, some elements of the school band, the Jigsaw group, S1 Crafts and Chat club, Debate Club, DMG department, Rights Respecting Schools group, Charities committee and the Computing Club.
