Whitdale P7C Transition
During week beginning 19th March, class P7-C from Whitdale Primary School, visited the Academy for their Transition Week.
The pupils began the week with a visit to Science to solve the mystery of the missing plant and a visit to Art, where they designed their own 'Insta Rabbits' on Monday. Tuesday began with a visit to Spanish to solve a 'Murder Mystery', this was followed by a Drama lesson, where in groups, the pupils had to act out the plot for a famous movie from it's theme tune! The day ended with some Gymnastics at PE.
On Wednesday, there was another trip to PE to do some basketball skills, followed by an Internet Safety lesson. Thursday was a busy day with a visit to DMG, where they designed their own keyrings. Next was a visit to the library for a Book Quiz. The day was rounded off with a visit to Home Economics, where the pupils made their own Mini Pizzas.
The week was rounded off with a showing of the many video clips and photographs taken of their visit.
