Banner Replacement
On Friday 2nd June, three S3 pupils attended the fitting and dedication of banners displaying events of World War One in 1917 at Whitburn War Memorial.

The pupils were involved in carrying out the necessary research by attending the local history library in Linlithgow and looking through old microfilms of the West Lothian Courier from 1917 and by consulting a range of secondary sources. The aim is to highlight the local and international impact of the war and is part of an ongoing project between the school and local community since 2014.
