Paper Aeroplanes
Normally if a teacher was to spot a paper aeroplane flying around their classroom or the corridor, the pupil involved would receive a detention, however this time it was allowed!
Our S1 Computing Science classes have been learning about programming over the past few weeks. Prior to starting to code anything, programmers make up pseudocode. Pesudocode allows the programmer to think about what they want their program to do and in which order to do it. The pupils had to complete a worksheet which involved putting the tasks for building a paper aeroplane into the correct order. Once they had done this then they would build one by following those instructions.
Once built, they had to find out if they could fly and how far they could go! Most went a short distance along the 2nd floor corridor, however some managed to reach the Social Studies department! Our photo shows some S1 pupils flying their aeroplanes!
