Class Teachers
Dylan and Jamie, 2 pupils from Mrs Whyte's S3 Geography class were set a challenge by Mrs Whyte: to teach their class for 1 period!
The topic they had to teach was 'drought'. Both pupils accepted the challenge and spent time after school preparing their lesson. They then delivered their prepared lesson to the class on Thursday 15th September.
Both pupils were excellent, they were very confident and it was really obvious that they had put in a lot of preparation into their lesson. Both boys said that they didn't realise just how much work went into preparing and delivering a lesson.
Mr Adair visited their class on Friday 16th September to hand out his final ever Whitburn Academy Rector's award, our picture shows one of the boys receiving his Rector's award from Mr Adair.
